Family Ties, a voluntary adoption agency, formerly known as the Phyllis Holman Richards Adoption Society, and, originally, the Memorial Centre of Help for Babies, was active from around 1942 to 1998.
The case files are now held by Parents for Children, a voluntary adoption agency specialising in finding adoptive families for children with profound emotional and/or physical disabilities.
Linda Plummer is employed 1 day a week to respond to enquiries, concerning the adoptions arranged by Family Ties and the predecessor agencies, from birth relatives, adopted people or adoptive parents.
E-mail messages are preferred but telephone calls or letters will be passed on by Parents for Children staff.
