What is your mountain? Where is your ocean? What is your dream?

We all face challenges in life........

Parents for Children is a charity working to find loving families to support the journeys and dreams of exceptional children facing their own personal challenges...Our Take a Teddy challenge is one way of sharing this aim while encouraging others to participate in your own psersonal challenge....

Take a teddy - it's something different and easy and will raise funds for this vital cause.

First: To get your teddy!

Please donate £20.00 to Parents for Children

You can donate £20.00 via the Parents for Children website or send a cheque made payable to: ‘Parents for Children’ to 3 Angel Gate, 326 City Road, London, EC1V 2PT. Please ensure you provide your full contact details, including your name, address, email and that you would like to participate in “Take a Teddy”.You will then be sent your teddy bear and welcome pack!

Next:

  • Take him/her on your challenge event/holiday/special occasion or any unusual destination and take a photograph!
If you are taking a teddy on an exciting ‘sponsorable’ event, you can set up a fundraising page at www.justgiving.com/parentsforchildren - and from here you can encourage others to sponsor your “Take a Teddy”challenge and get involved.

Now for the best bit!

Don't forget to share your photographs with the "Take a Teddy" group room!

We have set up a special “Take a Teddy” group room at  www.snapfish.co.uk – when we send you your teddy bear, you will also be invited (by email) to join this group, here you can share your photographs with other “Take a Teddy” challengers!

*Important* - Snapfish is quick and easy to join -  You will just need to sign up providing an email address and creating a password. When you enter the “Take a Teddy” group room, please create a ‘new album’ and upload your “Take a Teddy” photo/s to this album, ensuring you provide the album with a title and a short description of your teddy bear’s journey to share with all participants and Parents for Children.
